Spectacular backdrop

Driving home from work from Kreuzberg to Prenzlauer Berg there are various routes to take. But these days I always prefer passing by Karl-Marx-Allee, Strausberger Platz and Alexanderplatz. Why? Because of this scenery being offered to me almost every evening:

The sun goes down almost exactly on the axis of Karl-Marx-Allee, creating a stunning scenery together with the ‘Ostblock-Paradebauten’ on each side of the street. Find some more shots over at flickr.
