Living Room

I dropped by Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) last week to check on Internet access for an event this Friday and ran into a small exhibiton – sort of by accident. The exhibition is called “Living Room” and features works about space and shadow primarily from Indonesia (or South-East Asia, as they put it).

DSC04516 They created a room for this exhibition in the entrance hall of HWK. The space is surounded by a pretty cool set of drawings/illustrations, about which I could not find out anything, or much – other than that I like them. ;-) If you want to see some impressions, make sure you check out my Flickr.

Most of the works inside (the room) are visuals (video), and since you won’t run into contemporay art from Asia every day, I’d say you give it a try. Admission costs 3 EUR (reduced: 2 EUR).
