Botanical Gardens

As you can see I went to the Botanical gardens last weekend. For the first time. I was amazed at how beautiful the gardens were and at the lack of visitors. Sometimes I wonder whether the same “attraction” in a different city would be as empty as it is here.
The museum was a bit weird though. A mixture of very something very modern, efficient, well presented and something stuffy, old, from a different century.

Wow, next time I’m in Berlin this place is definitely on my to do list.

It looks fantastic to me. I visited it in 1949 and most of the glass was shattered but most of it was naturally beautiful. I always remember it and tell my daughters not to miss it if they have a chance. Their mother was born in Berlin.
