This year’s Museumsinsel festival will start this Saturday (27th May, 2006) with a opening concert at the Pergamon. Visitors will take a seat at the stairs of the Pergamon museum and will listen to pieces by Gustav Mahler, Arvo Pärt and Charles Ivest played by the RIAS youth orchestra.
