Kaufen, kaufen, kaufen!
Aber ist eh klar. It’s allet your Heimspiel.

Redbull Airrace 2006

red_bull_air_race.gif So I actually did go to the Air Race, but only briefly and I forgot my camera.

Tobias, from bloghain left his beloved Friedrichshain and went as well. Here are his personal snapshots from the event, and here are more on Flickr.

HIV by stabbing

Last night’s knifing rampage caused by a young Neuk├Âllner may have more sideeffects for the 28 victims of his attack.

Apparently, one of his first victims has HIV and the blood drawn might have infected the others.

Talking about seriously fucking up people’s lifes. First they survive the attack (some only by emergency surgery), and then you have to deal with four weeks of unknown because that is how long it takes until you can test for the HIV virus.

hihi haha hoho

banner-berlin-lacht.jpg

The 3rd Berlin lacht (laughs) festival invites people to join them for plays performed outside on the streets. Streetart, art on streets. Streettheatre?! Well you know what I mean.
The festival takes place in June (9th-11th), some of the performances, e.g. the culture bus, will start the show a bit in advance (31st of May).

Entrance is always free!

store opening hours during WM2006

Not exactly sure how shopping, closing hours and soccer are connected, but some people think it’s a good idea to have stores open longer during the championchips in June. Here is a list of stores in “City West” that have different opening hours while the football crazyness is in town. The list is subject to updates, so a bookmark might come in handy.

Usually, shops in BerlinGermany close the latest at 8 PM from Monday to Saturday. Sunday stores are closed in general, with a few exceptions to the rule, and of course gas station, restaurants and fast food.

Museumsinsel festival

mif10356_1.jpg This year’s Museumsinsel festival will start this Saturday (27th May, 2006) with a opening concert at the Pergamon. Visitors will take a seat at the stairs of the Pergamon museum and will listen to pieces by Gustav Mahler, Arvo Pärt and Charles Ivest played by the RIAS youth orchestra.

It’s wirklich your Heimspiel

Marsch! Marsch!

Berlin richtig geil
