All pregnant

exberliner-kidless-germany.jpg

Exberliner’s current hot topic is: Kidless Germany?. Do you agree? Getting my usual morninglunch coffee, I noticed many families with kids, or becoming moms, or even moms who are pregnant again.

And even more often, you see those in Kreuzberg. So I figure Kreuzberg is catching up on the large number of children in Prenzlberg? Some of my friends say they feel “under pressure” being surrounded by all those pregnant women, some claim they don’t (:-)) but constantly talk about it. And I really I don’t. Really! How are you guys?

Dutch green

Mein Berlin reports that the 8,000 square meters (That’s roughly 86,111 square foot for you non-metrics.) of green which are installed for the soccer championchips in June at the Olympia stadium come from THE enemy of all enemies of soccer Germany: the Netherlands, in case you did not know.

Now what’s up with that?

The writers at Hauptstadtblog also question my enthusiasm about winning in general. Now what’s up with that - I ask you!

Lidl blackmailed

The German N24 reported that Berlin-based stores of the Lidl brand are removing bottled marmelade and baby food from their line of goods.

According to N24, Lidl released a statement earlier about a blackmail issue and believes the products are contaminated. So if you purchased any of the above since Tuesday, you are adviced to return them to Lidl or your local police station.

English: Just thinking out loud if someone already tried to BBQ at Potsdamer Platz despite the ban, or if you anyone would be up for a field test. ;-)
