Ring, ring, ring – ring my bell!

Kein Anschluß unter dieser Nummer 6:30 AM, my doorbell rings. “WERBUNG!!!” (ADS!!!). The most annoying thing of all things to start into a day with. Alternatives are: “MÜLLABFUHR!!!” (TRASH), for example last Saturday around 8 AM, or “PAKETPOST!” (PACKAGE) – but the mailman usually comes later.

Really annoying. Especially these guys whom I tell not to throw ads into my mailbox. They just don’t care.

Just do it American-style and sue them mofos! You got a right to if you have a sticker on your mailbox. ;-)

it’s even worse in my case… when I am in berlin, I work from home…
mailman, package service, etc… all ring my bell , simply because I am apparently the only one who is home !

Last time I was in Berlin, I had my whole damn corridor full of stuff (boxes for Herr Doctor, Suits from Otto & Neckermann für Jana (sie ist eine hübsche, also weniger problematisch), 2 big boxes of wine for another neighbour)…

I dont know where this is going to ;)

actually William, ı have recently been thinking about being one of those Shippers’ Partner…. DHL does that, Post, too, I guess…

They go to the customers and if they ain’t at home, they leave the packages by one of those partners with whom they sign a contract and the recepient goes and picks them up. This way, they won’t have to drive 3 – 4 times to someone and they save a lot of time and money…

And if you do that, what’s in for you? I mean, they are saving money, how much do you get per package? :)
