Sex and Drugs and Rock’n’Roll beat WorldCup

World Cup has turned out to be as boring as expected. With a little luck the fucking German team gets kicked out by the Vikings next time. Maybe we then can finally get rid again of that nationalistic hybris and all those bloody flags that make my stomach liquids rise. By the way the PDS in Sachsen seems to trade in some flags against Antifascist T-Shirts and stuff like that. So keep on cutting them off.

Fete de la musique.
At least in Kreuzberg the WorldCup was only marginal yesterday. The streets were packed with stages, music and people that weren’t completely out of their minds because of a ball.

In the afternoon The Heiners which in fact are called Low Sweet Chariot made a fantastic performance in front of Club39 again. Those two Guys produced a Blues inspired Wall of Sound that blew away all the people with bad nerves but left an enthusiastic crowd.

Thanks to some delay of 1 1/2 h on Monster Ronson’s stage I managed to see Team Plastique from Queensland, Australia. Electrobeats met an early Punkrock Attitude. Fooling around with sticky tape, spaghetti, milk and pineapples they left the stage, themselves and the audience in a mess. And those girls did show their charms.

Finally Freddy Fischer and his Cosmic Rocktime Band funked up the crowd at Salon Schmück.
Germanys delayed response to Booker T. Or is he Manne Krug’s illegitimate son? If you ever get chance to see them don’t miss it. They’ve got the potential to win the Grand Prix for us.

Sure she’s got one. It’s holding the microphone. Other than those Soccer players those people were moving, so there is a lot of motion blur.
