Germany’s Pirate Party (PPD) was founded today in Berlin. The members met for an initial gathering at the infamous c-base in Berlin-Mitte.
The objectives of Germany’s the pirate party are to work against monopoly of knowledge (copyrights, patent system) and to ensure that citizens’ rights to privacy are respected.
