I’m too sexy for my swine

Where, exactly, the german obsession with pigs originates is anyone’s guess. During the two years I have been living in Berlin the unsettlingly frequent images of sexualized swine have not escaped my notice. Currently the Schloss Neuhardenberg is hosting an exhibition of piggy portraits, hoggish household items and swinish social history – perhaps here i can find the answers i so desperately crave!
