Today, you can witness performances in many cafes. To learn more about this addictive brown thing which many people crave for in the morning, afternoons and some even at night.

I only learnt about the “Day of Coffee” when I read the Tagesspiegel today – I didn’t know that the first coffee (in Europe) was sold in 1675 in Berlin. I was always under the impression that Vienna booked the whole coffee-thing for them since we all know about the famous “Wiener Kaffeehauskultur”. Or at least that seems to be the standard when people speak about cafe culture anywhere in the world, outside of Vienna.

And someone has to add this day whole thing – which clearly is my most favorite day of all days in the yea – to Wikipedia, since they do not know about it yet. And they are probably all addicted to coffee anyway.
