Coming up next: Smoking not allowed in Berlin !

allencarr_endlichnichtrauch.jpg

As the smoking prohibition is probably going to happen in Berlin, it’s time to get ready in advance and get rid of the good old friend.

I can’t really imagine Berlin complying to this possible future prohibition of smoking in open places, clubs, bars and “kneipen” but you never know !

sure to cause another revolution! i am grateful i quit a few years ago so that i don’t have to undergo the ritual social humiliation. and i must confess a bit of Schadenfreude concerning my coworkers who currently fill the building with their exhaust fumes…soon they will be forced to stand outside to smoke, like health cult refugees!

I didn’t know that, but the French have that ban almost everywhere already. And imagine that, even babies smoke over there.

It seems like liberté tojours is over…

i live in vancouver. we’ve had the ban for a number of years here. it’s not such a big deal…people who smoke don’t seem to mind going outside. i could barely even go to bars in berlin because i wasn’t used to the smoke.
