Google Maps Markers in real life

This thing is called Project Map and was made by a Berlin-based guy called Aram Bartholl. He also got a website with plenty of pictures describing Project Map. So basically his real life marker by proportion has the same size as the marker Google puts (online) on the maps when you view them.

I like the idea a lot, he calls his projects “net data space vs. every day life”, I’d call them real life mashups!
