Insider Tip #1 – 24/7
It’s not very new, that there is no problem to shop around the clock in Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg – at almost every corner you find a “Spaetkauf”. The only problem is, that you have to pay the double prize. But now I have an insider tip for those, who live around Torstrasse. The “Euro Market” is a real “REWE Markt” now, opened 24/7, with original REWE supermarket prizes. It doesn’t seem to be that big news on the first sight, but actually it is, because now you won’t have to pay 6 or more euros for a nice Berliner Pilsener six pack, here it costs 2,79.
You find the shop between Garten- and Bergstrasse, see you there!
really? 24/7? excellent…
We actually have one of those as well. Not exactly a Rewe, but at least you can get a sixpack becks for 3,5 or 4 eur, which ain’t bad at all during the night. They also have non-alcoholica (in case someone was wondering), magazines, icecream during the summer, sweetz (for the sweet) and general junk food.
Not sure when they close though, but they are on the corner of Gneisenaustrasse/Mittenwalder Strasse and open after midnight.
