i always enjoy seeing these words of wisdom from the SW Crew on my way to and from work. especially as an american i am intimately familiar with the ‘aggression of the USA’! there is also a bit of historical irony as the building stands on Bernauer Strasse, facing out from the edge of what once East Berlin.

Did you know they are renovating the Märchenbrunnen in Volkspark Friedrichshain? I don`t know how I feel about this, somehow I doubt it will turn out as fairy-like as it used to be.

Moviemento is located at Kottbusser Damm in Kreuzberg and Berlin’s oldest movie theatre.

The oldest because it’s as old as one century – a 100 years. Movie enthusiasts are encouraged to check out the special program (PDF) for the celebrations.
