What’s on your mind?
Aids continues to have a far greater impact on Africa than any other continent.
The UN’s “Aids Epidemic Update” reveals that of three million Aids deaths during the year 2005, 2.4 million were Africans - 80% of the total. Africa is also home to 70% of the adults and 80% of the children living with HIV in the world - just over 25 million in total.
And Africa has buried three-quarters of the more than 20 million people who have died of Aids since the epidemic began.
With this knowledge, what’s the idea to name a magazine about this great continent like the one below? Who is in charge for this and is he still doing his job?
