rain, cold, haze and a bit of ildeness
Welcome to the other time of the year. Summer is gone, and outside Berlin descends into rain, cold, haze and and a bit of idleness. Yesterday, we had a small party at the new office. Everything went quite well and cleaning up today didn’t take so long either. So I guess we are off to a good start. :)
I’m gonna take it way easy on the weekend, since I lost like two days to influenza (or something very close) last week. I am hoping to fight it off until Thuesday. ;) (Thanks to Tanya,) I am listening to Charles Azanvour (“La Boheme”, click here to listen to the track, Amazon and REAL). I have no idea what the song is about, but it fits the mood and the rainy day.
On Monday is a bank holiday in Germany. So we are all slacking off and don’t work (Yeah, right!). It’s “Tag der deutschen Einheit” (German (Re-)Unification Day), when East (GDR) and West (BRD) reunited in 1990, after the wall of the Berlin Wall, and so on. More to follow tomorrow, or Monday. :)
But in any case, if you have to do any last minute shopping for Monday you can do it tomorrow (Sunday) at Friedrichstra
