So, I actually managed to see a movie at Berlinale. The movie is called “Milarepa” (German), and talks about the exciting times of the yogi Milarepa, a pretty interesting and important figure in Tibetan Buddhism. I got a little bias towards the subject, so of course I liked the movie. :-) Very sweet, not very hollywood like, more of a fairy tale – but nothing like Narnia or Lord of the Rings.

We (that’s 100 friends from a local Buddhist center) even managed to speak to the director beforehand. We watched the movie at the Babylon, a theatre I have never been to in my four years of Berlin. But a place I will try to come back to more often.
