Central Station

We went for a walk around Berlin’s new central station on Sunday. Had a lookie here, and there. Well, what can you say? Even though I’d say 90% of the people at the station today were visitors, there seemed to be some actually going somewhere (the backpack gave it away).

I’m not sure else to say or think about it, I guess I’ll make my mind up the first time I actually go somewhere from there, or for that matter arrive.

On a sidenote: It’s good to see the surroundings blending in with another. The whole place looks a lot less like a construction site even though there is still some cleanup to do. Walking around the bridges connecting both sides of the river you even get a feeling of a port, and maybe even a bit of Alster (You will know what I am talking about.).
