No-go-area meets Soccer Championchips

Promoted as picture of the day (yesterday, Sunday) over at, the picture is from Friedrichshain at the border to district Lichtenberg, which is one of the boroughs of Berlin which got labled as a “no-go-area” by a couple local politicians.

“No-go” meaning: If you are not white and rather foreign looking, don’t go there!

Seeing all those huge billboards and paintings around town, I’d also like to know the pricing per wall. Do you think it varies just size-wise, or also from district to district? For example, is Mitte more expensive than Kreuzberg, or Lichtenberg?
