Friday night

So Friday night was pretty good. Even though DJ Sasha (ahem…) did not come, rocked the house with some awesome electro – check their website for more dates!

This was also my first time at Spindler & Klatt, and I had a pretty good time. They have this setup of tables and couch area outside – you get a great look on Berlin and the river Spree, and get to take life very easy. Inside – plenty of space for DJ and the dance-ready party crowd. What strikes me about my clubbing lately, the people are so old. I’m in my mid twenties, and everyone else seems to be way beyond thirty.

Later on, we went to where virtually nothing happened. Probably due to the Popkomm-weekend and parties just about everywhere – but in Friedrichshain.

We managed to drink past the curfew of two bars and had to go home then – since nothing of interest looked open. Friedrichshain – so is this the usual on a Friday night? My company assured me this was not the case, but I am not sure if this is just some of her new discovered Friedrichshain-pride since she moved there a while ago.

Anyway, no need to bitch. It still took me pretty much all Saturday to recover. And I get this feeling that the older you get, the less alcoholparty you need to be completely done for the next day. Which also means that it’s finally getting cheaper! ;-)
